Yogi Tea
Yogi Tea is a specific blend of healing spices brewed as a delicious tea with herbs that have been known to cleanse the blood, aid in digestion, and serve as an overall tonic.

4 qts. water
25 whole cloves
30 peppercorns
6-8 3-4" cinnamon sticks
25 green cardamom pods
3-4" gingerroot (scrubbed clean, not peeled) thinly sliced
1 tsp. black tea (or 1 tea bag) – decaf is ok

Bring water to a fast boil in a stainless steel pot. Add whole cloves and let them dance for about 1 minute. Add peppercorns, cinnamon, cardamom and gingerroot. Turn heat down so it is just simmering, cover, and let lightly boil for 45-60 minutes. Remove from heat, add black tea, allow to cool and then strain. Add milk or soymilk and honey for taste. Keeps well for a week in the refrigerator. If you would like to use it as a liver/colonic tonic, drink one cup in the morning – cold – and with no milk or sweetener.

Golden Milk
Golden Milk is a delicious drink, featuring turmeric as it’s active ingredient.
Turmeric is known in the Ayurvedic system of medicine as a lubricant for the joints.

1 cup milk (or milk substitute)
1 cup water
1/2 - 1 teaspoon Turmeric
1 teaspoon almond oil or ghee & some sweetener

Cook the turmeric for 8 minutes in the water. (You may wish to make a batch that stays fresh for up to one month in the refrigerator). Add milk, and bring to boiling point. Remove from heat, and add oil and sweetener.
